backup and OS suggestions?

Not sure if this is right section.
I've essentially got my build already done. Just need to get around to upgrading motherboard and may OS?

I doubt I got more then 5-10gbs to backup.
More interested in hearing about what OS people suggest. Long time fan of windows 7.
But feel like windows 10 might be the new windows 7 for me... Thing is all I know about it is how shit I've heard it is... and that was a couple years back... I've heard nothing lately apart from some of my games are "coming to windows 10"
It time to upgrade my OS or stick to my old trusty? I'm power gamer looking for performance mostly.

W10 is really not to bad.

Once used to it, Windows 10 is actually quite good.

 

At home I use an external 4TB hdd and Acronis True Image backup software (paid).
