Pc crashes

SamuraiAlex

Hello guys,

First of all I'm not really sure which category to put this in but I think this might be the most appropriate.

The problem occurs in overwatch, I'll be running well (GPU temperatures never above 62oc) but then it'll randomly crash. It only ever occurs in this situation. My specs should be able to handle it so I've got no idea whats going on.

My specs are:

-R5 1600 @stock

-Giabyte 1050ti @stock

-8gb DDR4 2133mhz

-MSI B350 Tomahawk

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers in advance guys.

first of all, this belongs in the gaming category.

- cpu temps?
- power supply?

- nvidia drivers / windows / bios update?

What do you mean by crashing? Does your PC freeze, does it randomly reboot or something else?

And this doesn't occur in any other games?

What PSU do you have?

Ti cards are known for needing more RAM than others so could be that.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...

Yes, I can read, thank you. I was just wondering, maybe he doesn't play any other games so saying it only occurs in Overwatch wouldn't matter.

Try a better PSU first. There is a pinned post in the PSU section.

If it's a blue screen you can check what the error is by using BlueScreenView. If you don't have mini dumps enabled you will have to do that first.
