Hi! 

I found a really nice price for one 16gb ram stick but the problem is that it is only 2800 mhz. I've got the i5 8600k and i just wounderd if this is enough? Also is it better to have two ram sticks than one?

ram speed doesn't mater much on intel, only ryzen (because at the moment, the infinity fabric between the CCXs are controlled by ram speed)

get 1x8gb over 2x4gb, so that you don't need to throw out the 2x4gb when you decide you do need >24GB ram

Any little bit would help as long as you don't go below the 2666MHz that's standard for CFL.
