Hello guys i am currently picking up new parts for my high targeted only for gaming  and i dont know what cooler to get i am thinking of aircooling for the moment since i wont overclock the cpu by a lot and maybe later in the future i get a liquid one and maybe 2 more sticks of ram the case i will be using will be nzxt s340 elite(white) so i was wondering if i could fit a nh-d15s in it and if not any suggestions ???.i've tried looking it up on my own but i really dont understand reviews and i cant find a same build...

cpu:i7 8700k

motherboard:z370-e

gpu:asus strix 1080 ti 

ram:tridentz rgb 2x8 16gb ddr4 3200mhz

psu:corsair hx850i platinum

if you want a promising compatibility the NH-U14S is better in that department

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

 

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

H5 Universal or R1 Universal are the ones you are looking for. U14S won't fit, D15 needs fan to be moved to other side as RAM is too high. D15S is fine as it comes with single fan.

The NH-U14S is 165mm tall and doesn't fit.

yeah, i thought by better in the heatsink clearance with ram
