Hello all,

So recently I've been finding my self being slowed down in the menus in my adobe products when I'm editing. I know for windows at least, you can run software to use a separate keyboard as a Macro keyboard as Taran has done, however the issue is that after doing some research I still am unable to find how to do it on MacOS.

I'd love to have a keyboard entirely dedicated to just macro keys but the computer just sees typing on both as one keyboard.

All help is welcomed! Thanks!

The Keyboards:

Apple Magic Cropped BT Keyboard

Dell KB1421 QuietKey USB Keyboard

The specs:

iMac 21.5-inch, Late 2012 model

2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

NVIDIA GeForce GT 640m 512MB

Running macOS High Sierra (Version 10.13.2)

Right there is software that works for windows, however I'm looking for something that works with macOS

Use windows(dual boot) then if its very important thing for you.
Also you could try https://alternativeto.net/software/autohotkey/?platform=mac or try to get autohotkey working with WINE or write your own tool ;)
