Low Mic volume

I have a set of Sennheiser GAME ZERO, they use 3.5mm jack and my mic volume is super low. People can barely hear me even if i yell. If i use a USB headset everything is fine. Anyone have any idea what can be happening?

Try using a USB sound adaptor or a PCIe sound card. Motherboard audio can sometimes be not enough for some mics. Equalizer APO can also be a help to boost audio.

If you got realteks soundboard, then go to the audio control and check if the mic volume is set to 50%.
