Looking for USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 docking solution

I am looking for a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 docking solution. Seems to be a mess of things out there that work and don't work well.

 

These will be used with an XPS 13 9360 and XPS 15 9560

My requirements:

  • 2-3 Displays over mDP, DP or HDMI
  • Does not use Displaylink technology (seems like almost all of the USB-C to multiple display out adapters use this)
    • Correct me if I'm wrong, but am I unable to get more than 1 display over USB-C without resorting to displaylink tech?
  • If its a hub like dock, USB-C PD.
  • <$250
  • Ethernet port a plus

Anything on the market that would solve this issue? I've looked at the Dell TB16, Dell WD15 (uses displaylink tech for 2 ports:dry:), and Dell D6000 (also uses displaylink)
