New Possible Build

Soo this build requirements is that I needs to be able to Double down as a Video Editing Rig but when its on it's down time from that be able to function as a Gaming rig as well.

 

More Information:

The Rig is only designed to Be able to run games at Normal setting I ain't looking it to run on Ultra and be able to have over 200fps, I want it to be able to run games at Normal settings or a little higher and be able to achieve a steady 60-100fps Without having major dips.

Secondly this is to see if I can build decent Rigs. So any advice or Website links that could improve my knowledge on how components communicate etc would be very much appreciated.

Looks find to me, but if you wanna better video editing performance go for the 8700k and a stronger CPU cooler.

 

Only thing i'd change is the PSU to something like the focus gold from seasonic.

There isn't one, its your ability to take in lots of information from many sources to achieve your own knowledge,

@TrigrH Then It looks like i'm going back to trial and error method, Where I get roasted for choice in parts at times to be told why

The BeQuiet Dark Rock 3 will be fine, so no need to change it if you don't want to. Same goes for the PSU. Unless you can get the Seasonic cheaper then the RMx is a solid psu. You will be fine with 550W though.

 

I would get the 3000MHz kit over the 2400MHz one. Only about a quid more.
