Hello,

I've been having issues trying to get additional SATA power into my case. For the longest time I've had three hard drives and simply been using the included 6-pin to SATA power connector that came with my Thermaltake 850 watt modular power supply. I recently got a brand new case, a new HDD, and a Corsair lighting node kit and find myself in need of two additional SATA power slots. I've been searching online and for some bizarre reason I cannot find a simple solution to this issue. There are a ton of 4-pin connectors out there but I have next to no 4-pin connections in my case. I have a bunch of old 4 pin to sata power connectors piled up from over the years but I simply cannot make it work. I bought a few 8-pin to sata connectors online only to realize some of the pin guides are fused so I cannot plug it into my PSU. I go to check further only to see that they are pretty much all like that.

So maybe I'm just a complete moron (this is entirely possible) but I'm just trying to find a 6-pin or 8-pin to multiple SATA power connector so I can get on my storage and RGB needs. If anyone has any helpful suggestions (a direct link would be a godsend at this point, I'm just really frustrated) please let me know!

If you are looking for a SATA power cable to go directly from your PSU to SATA you will need to get custom made ones for your specific PSU.

You can get large splitters/adapters which go from molex to SATA Power.
