so here's the scenario.

i'm planning on buying a cheap Asus mini pc, and hooking up a 6TB external drive to it which i also need to purchase.

i want this setup to automatically make backups of the SSD's of my main machines, as well as another thing.

i want to be able to plug a 2TB external drive that i always take with me into the pc when i come home, and have it automatically backup all the changes to the data. i also want to be able to acces the same files from the network.

the whole setup will be running Windows 10.

i don't mind paying a little bit for the software, as long as it's not a stupid amount of money.

anyone have suggestions?

So your main machine's are on 24/7 are they? Because as far as backup automation goes, that's the first thing.

Secondly, its real easy to set up a backup in Win10, and you can point it anywhere you want. As for incremental backups, I only have experience with Symantec System Recovery 2013 and that handles any extra/related drives, warns you when a backup is missed etc.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...
