I dont really have a budget, but i just want a machine which is relatively small, and i can do some gaming on. it also needs to be able to do 3d cad and rendering. I am currently using a fully specked lenovo carbon x1 rev 3, which is great for anything that does not require a gpu. But as i am starting to do some more serious cad and im getting into pc gaming a bit more. Ideally, id like to spend less then a thousand eur, but it looks like thats not really feasable. Anyway, here is the list. Im not sure thats the exact gpu model i will get, but probably the same chipset.

i am also considering this, as it is slightly cheaper

I would recommend this not only because it is cheaper than both your builds (standing at ~ $1530) but because when you picked Intel, you went with the seventh gen of CPUs, line that's dead and have no room for future upgrades.. yeah maybe the i7 7700k but nothing more. That's why I added an I5 8600k(which is unlocked). Also, I do own this CPU and works properly and with a CoolerMaster 212 it never passes 60-65 deg C while in full load. So by that I also reduced the price on the cooler, from $87 to just $30 because it's almost the same thing, it only does cool your PC and as far as I know CoolerMaster 212 is still pretty good. Also, for ram you don't really need 3000mhz on Intel... if you want, then yes.. it's okay, but it does not require that much of a speed. Only Ryzen does that. So I also reduced the price for ram. The rest you'll see in the list. ^^

 || CPU: Intel i5-8600K || Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212X || Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370 HD3P || GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050ti OC Windforce 4GB || Memory: 16GB Crucial DDR4 3000mhz || HDD: WD Black 500GB + Seagate Barracuda 2TB || SSD: Samsung 980 1TB || PSU: Corsair VS550 || Case: nJoy Ice Cage || Fans: Segotep Halo Ring RGB ||Monitor: 2x Dell 27" P2717H IPS Full HD || Second Monitor/TV: LG 49UJ620V UHD || Mouse: Logitech G502 || Keyboard: Logitech G810 + Royal Kludge RK84 || Speakers: Philips SPA-5300 subw + Arylic 2.1 + DIY Bookshelves w/ Dayton Audio || Headphones: HyperX Cloud Flight S ||

That looks good, its just that i dont have the space for a full tower, so i changed to itx and a node 304. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zkY9jc

Do you really need a new pc now? The prices of the gtx 1060 is really overpriced right now, like doubled what is used to be

No, i dont NEED it right now, but everytime i want to build a pc and its time to upgrade, there is some reason not to. Like ryzen, vega, kaybe lake, high gpu prices, high ram prices..... it just feels like its the right time now.
