I want to start modding gta iv(there was a deal on steam so i got it). There are a bunch of ways to unlock the game but i dunno which to use, i dont wanna run into problems later on.

What do you mean by unlocking the game? All of the mods I've used just require you to drag and drop files.

yes unlocking is what im confused with, there are multiple unlockers and i dont know if its bad to use one over another.

When I was modding GTA IV (modded 90% of the cars etc.) all I did was drag and drop the new files, and modify the corresponding config and properties files to tweak it.
