Hello there,

First of all, here is my build (brand new computer, my first one, what a nice way to start):

  • Ryzen 5 1600
  • MSI X370 SLI PLUS
  • Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz (2x4GB) - CMK8GX4M2B3000C15R
  • GTX 1060 6GB Aorus Windforce
  • Corsair CX550

Thing is, I can't boot in dual channel configuration, even with BIOS on default it doesn't POST. I already updated the BIOS to the latest version, did a CMOS reset too, but no deal.

  • A single RAM stick (any of both) in any of the 4 slots: POST and boot normally
  • Both sticks on either A1+A2 or B1+B2 configuration: POST and boot normally
  • Both sticks on slots A2 and B2 (recommended in the manual) or A1 and B1: EZ_Debug CPU and DRAM LEDs turns on and keeps on until I shut down the machine or the LED's goes off, fans keep spinning at full speed but no video

Thing is, I went into a local store to test it, and the dude just popped out my sticks, put some HyperX 2400Mhz on A2+B2 config and bam, POST and boot, so they concluded that it's a RAM compatibility issue. Last night I tried to change some stuff at the BIOS, set timmings to 2T 16-18-18-18-36, frenquency to 2400Mhz and it posted, but still not 100% perfect, sometimes CPU and RAM LED's would flash once, GPU LED would flash once and after it goes off boot screen appears, but sometimes just the CPU and RAM LEDs flash once, and GPU LED do not flash and I get no video.

I just can't get it, before I buy this RAM+mobo, I have read many discussion topics on the internet about compatibility issues, I knew that it was a thing with AMD, but the general consensus was that, in a worst case scenario, I would just have problems to reach the max frenquency advertised in the RAM I bought and that every DDR4 in the market should be running at 2133MHz in default settings out of the box, but I can't even do that, even with the latest BIOS version. My "incompatibility problem" is so picky, so weird, that even seeing my PC booting in dual channel with another RAM in front of me I still can't believe it and I can't stop thinking that something else is faulty.

I'm kinda bummmed about this, I didn't want to do a RMA  since in my country, you send the hardware and they have 30 days just to give you an answer (you don't get a replacement right away), guarenteed by law, so I may wait 30 days to get a "everything is working fine, we are returning your products" in my face.

Anyone can give me some light?
