I've had the same Powercolor R9 270 for the past 4 years that I got from Newegg in an open-box deal and now I'm a looking to get a upgrade. I checked Newegg, Amazon, the closest Microcenter and finally Ebay but to avail either the prices were either through the roof or non existent. I know that mining was the reason that higher end RX series gpus have been out of stock/overpriced since the summer of last year but I thought that nvidia was bad at mining. The most surprised was when I went Ebay to see if i could get a decent deal on a used 1060 or rx 570 but they're just as overpriced there a everywhere else. I know the best solution for this is to wait a couple months for the crypto-currency to take a dive like it did in late 2013 when it was the R9 270X that was being bought in bulk for mining and then its price when down after a while.

nah just auto notify directly from retailers.  I have had a ton of success with EVGA

These chips are at MSRP, shipping is $20, tax if you are in CA.  These cards seen to be restocked almost daily for the past 2-3 days

Yeah I'm not a fanboy for either Nvidia or Amd, I just want to get what has the best price to performance ratio. I wanted to get a new graphics card mostly so i can get high settings and 60 fps on Skyrim Special Edition, Fallout 4, and Mass Effect Andromeda. I probably should of upgraded my gpu back in November instead of upgrading my cpu from an Amd Fx 6300 to an Amd Ryzen 7 1600.
