Ordering from EVGA for a GTX 1080 Ti

Jrasero

I have been going crazy trying to find GTX 1080 Ti, preferably by EVGA.  I even thought of paying $1000-$1200 or buying a Titan

However yesterday I was notified that 6 cards I was interested were available and MSRP

I would highly recommend using EVGA's direct site in trying to score a 1080 Ti if you don't want to pay $1200+

I originally ordered 4 cards but decided that was a bit greedy and didn't want to get into the hassle of unloading 3 cards since I am keeping one, so I cancel 2 and have 2 cards on order:

11G-P4-6598-KR Hybrid,

11G-P4-6391-KR iCX BE

Most likely I am going to keep the Hybrid as long as it fits into my Bulldog 2.0 and sell the Black Edition

For the people that have ordered from EVGA how fast is their standard shipping?  Where do they ship from?

SFF Time N-ATX V2 - Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro WIFI - AMD Ryzen 9 5800X3D - Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 4090 - LG C2 OLED 42"

EVGA has been restocking cards almost every day, so I would def signup for their auto notifications if you want to score a card at MSRP.  The only problem is that EVGA is really strict on shipping after the order it made.  They nickle and dime you for things like signature required for $4.5 and ground shipping is like $20, which isn't any kind of bargain but still cheaper than paying scalped prices.

Well I’d have to pay taxes and drive up to get it if I wanted on. So that doesn’t sound too bad.

BTW ordering directly from NVIDIA when I bought a Titan XP and cancelled was a nightmare.  Their CS is in the Philippines, which normally isn't a problem but the people I was getting were god awe full.  I called 5 minutes after I placed the order and they kept insisting there was no grantee that the order would be cancelled and if it was I could just refuse the package.  That was on Jan 15 and just today I was told it was finally cancelled.  How can you not stop something that was placed 5 minutes ago from not being shipped?  Also even though to my knowledge and CS's, NVIDIA has no address based in NY yet I was being charged tax.

Tax depends on weather or not they have a business presence in the state.
