Best graphics card for medium to high is Nvidia's GTX 660ti or AMD's 7870. But if you want more bang for your buck i'd go for the AMD 7870. Either way you get good performance + you can overclock them to get even more performance :) Hope this helped

ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ($128) [Newegg]

Intel Core i5-3570K ($220) [NCIX]

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 ($230) [Newegg]

SeaSonic SSR-550RM 80 PLUS GOLD ($86) [Newegg]

G.Skill Sniper 8GB [2x4GB] DDR3 1600 ($45) [Newegg]

Western Digital Black 1TB ($91) [NCIX]

120/128GB SSD ($100-120)

For SSD, get any of these, whichever is cheapest when you buy the rig; they're all great: Intel 520 series, Samsung 840 Pro (non-pro is meh), ADATA XPG SX900, Kingston V+200, OCZ Vertex 4, OCZ Vector, G.Skill Phoenix III.

Phoenix III and Kingston V+200 seem to be the best value right now. Outstanding performance.

The prices listed above are approximate/"usual" prices. If you shop around you can probably get some cheaper.

I'm not familiar with what vendors are common in the UK; if you can name some I'll look around. Does Amazon ship to UK?

^ That build is pretty good, I'd change the Motherboard to a P8Z77-V LX to save an extra few. I believe you can just get Kingston Hyper X memory (not sure about the price difference between the G.Skill sniper.) If it's possible try to squeeze a 660ti into the build! :D

Also, do you have a monitor yet? And if so, what resolutions are you running at?

With a resolution like that you won't need a very powerful GPU, unless you're planning to upgrade it sometime soon.
