Tracking Data Over Time MS Excel

Hi, I am working on an excel project in which one of the cells is updated every so often. The cell i want to make a graph of this number as it changes over time. So essentially, i want excel to take note of the number in that cell every 24 hours and add that to a list which i will then graph.

 

Anyone know how to do this??

The easiest way is to just stay inside Excel. Use a column of cells, consistently putting the new value one cell down every day. That way Excel handles your persistence for you. Be careful though, this will only work for 1,048,576 days.
