Hi guys

So I'm upgrading my setup and I'm going with the Corsair Ecosystem.

So I recently purchased the Corsair Void RGB PRO Wireless headset and this is a recommendation, If you currently don't have a surround sound headset, go out and buy one. The surround sound on these are crazy. I cannot go back to normal stereo sound now. I play games, listen to music, and watch YouTube videos all in surround sound mode. Guys, Surround sound ups your experience with audio and I highly recommend you get yourself a headset capable of surround sound like the Corsair VOID RGB PRO Wireless with is Dolby 7.1 surround sound.

You dont know what you are missing out on. Everything sounds like you are in the room that the audio is coming from. Audio is much clearer and has life. I am amazed at this.

You really need to get a headset capable of surround sound.

Have a great day/night

whooooaaa hold your horses bruh.

i understand the excitement and all but let me just tell you that true "7.1 surround sound headphones" do not exist. not that i know of.

they'd need one speaker for each channel in each earcup

the highest "true" surround sound headphones i have seen was 5 channel - and more than that isn't even practical because you'd need to shrink each individual driver to cram enough of 'em in these earcups - wich would somewhat reduce the overall sound quality

more often than not, these "whatever.1 surround sound headphones"  are regular stereo headphones with some special enhancement magic done in software (driver app) or hardware (converter box)

i used a pair of surround headphones myself and i also played around with enhancement software that can turn regular hifi stereo headphones into "surround" and i can say that this enhanced stereo can sound amazing and (if done right) the imersion and sound localization might be better on these headphones than most cheap something.1 PC speakers but - technically - they are not true multi channel surround headphones. just saying.

I did forget to mention that the surround sound that im talking about is virtual and done in software. Either way it is amazing.
