steamOS problems entering first command

Go to solution Solved by technovore,

FIXED: I made the iso using isocreator http://sourceforge.net/projects/iso-creator-cs/files/latest/download

instead of my usual IMGBURN.

it took the auto-completion and I got a few steps further

Pic says it all.
According to this guide, that's the command I have to enter: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamuniverse/discussions/0/648814395797000712/
Am I doing sth wrong here?

Treat your local grammar nazi nicely and he might teach you a thing or two. (Note that I'm Belgian and not a native English speaker.)

I got past the install but it wouldn't boot in my VM. I also herd that only nvidia cards are supported so it might not even run in a VM at all.

ur not typing is properly its case sensitive

the second attempt u have to have FS as capatalized

dont think that will work becaus i also have the same issue and typing it capatalized didnt make a difference

If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough it will be believed.

t might not be FS0:\, type "map" and see if that directory exists on one of the other devices.

try press tab after typing

FS0:\E

what tab does is fill in the first known directory. if you do not get it to fill with

FS0:\EFI\

you can then type b and hit tab again and it should populate with BOOT.

if this does not work then you may have to check to make sure that your iso file is still mounted perhaps.

there was no auto-completion in any of the above scenarios
