Not an amazing upgrade for gaming as most games don't use more than 4 cores and 8 threads. I suggest stepping up to a GTX 1080 or 1080 Ti.

Well I would if prices weren't so damn high. I'm not paying a grand for a 1080 ti when it used to be around 750.

I want to have more power for steaming, developing, and being able to run test servers while in game.

Did you mean streaming or Steam-ing? What kind of servers and developing in particular?

you can  prob cut down the cost, by getting 212 evo as a cooler. Unless you are planning to oc then nvm.

Also 8700k is the best mainstream cpu for gaming, but i think you should get 1080ti for that 4k monitor.

''Daddy CumTits 2.0'' (pc):

CPU - Intel i7 8700k

GPU - Asus Strix 1080 8gb

RAM - 2x8gb Corsair Vengance

MOBO - Asus Prime Z370-p

PSU - Corsair RM750x

Why not both ;) and I develop Arma 3 servers so I have to run apache, mysql, and the arma 3 server itself on top of running Arma 3. Also on occasion I run photoshop and like I said earlier, stream.

Also yeah I planned on overclocking the 8700k a little bit. Although the 4.7 Ghz is pretty nice in itself.

What's happening to the old components? Why not reuse the cooler?

A Night Hawk ram kit would be a bit cheaper but you could stick with the current kit if you're after that aesthetic. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zrVD4D/team-night-hawk-32gb-2-x-16gb-ddr4-3200-memory-thwd432g3200hc16cdc01

What you have seems fine if you're looking to oc and are using wifi. Otherwise, you could get with a cheaper motherboard.

I wanted to get a better cooler for my cpu so I can have more room for overclocking and just keep my cpu temps down. I think I'll go with the night hawk ram, it looks really cool to me. Do you have any good recommendations on case fans to keep the inside cool? And what kind of configuration should I have my cooling at?

If you're getting a 360mm rad, it'd only fit at the front and you should have it as intake. You can use the stock fans for top and rear exhaust.

Depending on your preference, you can decide to replace the stock case and AIO fans with quieter ones.

What about recommendations for good case fans as the ones I have just came with the cases I got. I haven't actually bought any case fans.

Why do you want to replace the stock fans? Are they too loud?

I just thought I'd get something that might be better with cooling.

The stock fans will be fine for cooling. They're not particularly quiet so you can replace them later if you think they're too noisy.
