If i was to go for the 1600 i could afford a better X370 motherboard, the 1700 would probably need to go B350.

Just wondering what you guys would choose.

A bit of everything really, but mostly gaming and also want the most future proofed option. Possible upgrade to newer ryzen at a later date.

If I had to choose? 1700. Because overkill fuck yeah :D.

Same everything as the 1600 and 2 extra cores.

Probably makes no sense but i dont care. Thats what I would do.

I'd get the better mobo as the new ryzen cpus out later this year will be worth the upgrade and you will want a better board

-13600kf

- 4000 32gb ram

-4070ti super duper

Amazing imo. For my use case I feel is perfect, It allows me to do even things that I don't Need to (like why not streaming if you don't lose any FPS). Even in xPlane 11 (CPU intensive simulator) is balanced with the GPU I own. Mine overclocked decent, even RAM.

The question is do you need the extra core? And It depends only on your workload
