Hi,

Someone gave me his AMD Phenom II X4 965 and i bought an aftermarket Air cooler so i tried to overclock it but it's not as easy as i tought.

First, i don't know if this Motherboard is good enough to overclock: M4N68T V2

And second there is so many options i did some research, i know what the frequency multiplier is and i know i'm supposed to add voltage but i'm still not sure where i add voltage and what all the other options do. Here is a picture of the bios:

I set the Multiplier to get 3.5Ghz instead of 3.4 but if i go any higher it becomes unstable, this is not a picture i took, just one i found on internet but it's exactly the same bios.

I think my Cpu cooler can handle an overclock to 3.8 or 4GHz (But, again, i don't know if the motherboard can). It is the Arctic Freezer 13 and my psu is the Corsair CX450.

Oh and i don't know if it matters but i updated the bios to the latest version.

Full system:

Motherboard: M4N68T V2

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black edition

Heatsink: Arctic Freezer 13

Ram: 8 Gb of corsair ram (without heatsink on it)

Actual Gpu: Msi Gt 730

Future Gpu: Zotac Gtx 960 2Gb

Psu: Corsair CX450
