GPU causing frozen boot screen.

Go to solution Solved by BluePhoenix874,

yes otherwise it wouldn't get to the boot screen wouldn't it?

When i start my pc without my gpu in, it starts fine, however when i put my gpu in (gtx 760) it causing the boot screen to freeze then black screen.

This is after a windows reset and i have tried downloading up to date drivers however problem continues.

Any ideas? or is the GPU just dead?

Um...did you move the connection from the monitor from the motherboard to the gpu?

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.
