Disable casting on chrome mobile

I live in a shared house where we all use the wi-fi. I accidentally casted from my phone to the TV. Is there a way to disable the cast option?

I hope that what you sent to the television wasn't video of your roommates backside.  At least if it was, everyone was in for a good laugh.

No it was just a YouTube video but it's annoying. Is there a way to disable it?

Not sure about being able to disable it, but just because it is there doesn't mean you have to use it.
