Hi, so Im trying to overclock my 1050ti. I can reach 175 on the core clock however anything past 200 crashes my memory clock.. Why is this? My friends can reach 1000 memory clock. Did I do sometihng wrong? I have only touched the core clock and mem clock nothing else. When I google it, I see that people also can get their mem clocks up to stuff like 750, why mine can only go 200?

Idk who your friends are or what card they have but +200 on a mem clock is pretty decent and normal. Kinda depends on the card idk about the 1050ti. Increasing voltage will make it more stable. So try that if people are getting higher numbers than you.

Unsure what power supply to pick?

Check out my HTPC build.

me and my friends are using 1050ti

agree with RKRiley, Brand and Models will yield slightly different specs and speeds.  While you can average an overclock estimate for a card tier, each card does clock differently and may not yield the same results as another identical card.

Example I can OC my 1070 to an av of 2115, my friend can only get hers to 1950

well yes and no, its all graphics cards, don't take it as your card is broken, you just might not be able to get as high an oc, thats normal, if you are comfortable, you can try tweaking the power output and voltages (mildly and carefully) and use benchmarks like firestrike, or the unigine systems to stress test.  I would set a basic overclock that you know works, run a bench mark then increase your clock speeds by 10 or so, retest, and repeat until you either crash or see artifacts, then dial back to the highest stable.

A lot is silicon lottery, so just play with it until you can get the best for you.

Ok thanks I’m a bit scared to up the voltage so I’ll just keep it at 200
