Amazon being slow

Has anyone else bought computer parts from amazon? I just bought a new case and PSU and its been stuck in "shipping soon" for 2 days, i normally buy from NCIX and rarely newegg but they where out of stock. I know there is a amazon 20 miles from me and im wondering why they dont ship them.

Is it from Amazon themselves?

They are usually pretty quick for me, same day in some circumstances. I notice that on some electrical goods it says "may require an additional 2 days to deliver", but I have never had an issue with them personally.

They might have the item you ordered on a warehouse outside your area and they are moving it to the warehouse closer to you

I ordered it from amazon and it said that it would ship the same day, this is the first time that this has happened from them, normally its same day. Kinda sucks when a item weighs 30 pounds and 2 day and 3 day delivery costs $60+. The reason i say this is because if i ordered 3 day they would have to ship it to get it here in the date, with free shipping they have 5-8 days (which seems long to me since it has to go less than 1000 miles)
