Hi I'm just asking if a Nvidia GTX 950 would get bottlenecked with a Intel Pentium E5700 (3.5 GHz OC) dual core CPU?

it will really depend on the game, many newer games wont run/will run badly with only 2 cores, but with older and simpler games you might be fine

If you are using that pc as a fileserver: nope. (almost every task needs it's own % GPU/CPU, so there are loads of scenario's where it won't be an issue. And if you can find a 950 for really cheap, it's not bad that you might be bottlenecking it)

Without knowing for sure, I'd say that there would most likely be a fairly significant CPU bottleneck. At least for games, whatever games that system would run.

It depends on the usage. Bottlenecks only occur through usage , not the parts simply existing in the same machine.

If you can get an gtx 950 for free, and if it's better then the current GPU: who cares if it's being bottlenecked by the CPU. (look up what it means and what it does... It's not bad at all/won't break anything and well, if the GPU is for free...)
