Iphone 8 plus sound delay

Whenever I play a youtube video, the sound comes a half to one second later than the video does, making watching gameplay or hearing people speak annoying, since they are not connected. I think I was having the same issue on netflix earlier as well.

You using earbuds/headphones or the built-in speakers?

It happens with both the built in speakers and the headphones.

That's quite odd...I would understand if it were malfunctioning on headphones, but speakers? Only recommendation is to just reset your phone to factory settings, then restore. If the problem persists, contact apple--nothing else you can do.

I’ll try apple support later then. I can’t just reset because I have important information on my phone.

Can you not backup to your computer, using iTunes? You can always backup, reset, then restore.
