I bought a LCD Screen for apple a long time ago, but the videos state I should have boughten a LCD + Digitizer with the casing, which I just did now. They stated the earlier model had separate LCD and separate Digitizer, but the next model year its one piece. I got the phone all the way open, no big deal.

Apple Cell Phone ONE - The symptom is that my phone powers on, but the screen is blank. Plus cant find the back that slides in over the battery.

Apple Cell Phone TWO - iphone 4S Glass is broken.

Question is, what is wrong with Cell Phone ONE?

I am waiting on the LCD + Digitizer and casing for Cell Phone TWO.

Do I need to order another $15 module?

Both phones work on same provider. Can deal with the broken glass a bit longer.

I am literally going to throw my Windows phone in the gutter, its horrible. No Apps, Slow, even internet takes 5 minutes to open. The phone is garbage, what a waste of money.

Well with the news of Apple slowing down phones, I dont know what to do now with my Apple 5 on Rogers and Apple 4 unlcoked and Apple 4S on Bell.

I guess I can deal with the slowness, but I need to look at finding Android cell phones like the Samsung S4 for uber cheap. I will keep my eyes open at the major recyclers, I just hope I can find a decent brand name Android cell for $20 or $40.

In the meantime I ordered a lcd and digitzer one piece with casing so that should get me through for a few more years on Apple 4 cell. Then the used phones I want will be even cheaper.

this would be the LCD just not working or displaying anything, happened with my iPhone 6, dead screen but I could still type in the passcode and hear it open and use it somewhat, even used it to receive calls

the thing is that you pretty much need to order the LCD and digitise together, as trying to swap over an lcd on its own would be hard as it is without even breaking it, or even breaking the digitizer.

finding a decent brand name android cell for $20-$40 would be quite hard depending on what you were looking for, an s4 would at least still run you $150, unless you could find some bargain deal where you can see the phone working in person

unless you fix  the issues with the phones to the point theyre usable and sell them as a deal or a trade for a phone + money

Both my iphone 4 and iphnone 5 were purchased for $20 and $30, I just keep my eyes open from a few good ebayers, one local junker corp on ebay and all others. I did buy the lcd and digitizer with the casing, so I will see how it goes, if I remember how to put it all back together, luckily there is youtube for which is how I disassembled it. Hopefully I can get it going again because its unlocked from provider. If that goes well I will buy same product from same ebay seller to do other phone, where it still works just glass is broken. And both will be put back into a bumper style case which will never break the phone ever again. And I will be good until new frequencies and another G comes to the market in 5 or so years.
