Hello!

I just finished building my new PC with 8600K yesterday and started to overclock today. I haven't had almost any success and I'm wondering that am I doing something wrong or did I really miss the silicon lottery. I've followed the guide by der8auer and his video about 8700K.

My system right now has:

i5 8600K

Asus ROG Strix Z370-F

Corsair LPX 3000MHz 15cl

I can only hit 4.6GHz with vcore on 1.28 and it seems that it is impossible to go even for 4.7GHz. I've booted with 1.3vcore with 4.7GHz but the Prime95 test fails immediately and the same goes on even with 1.33 vcore.

I don't know am I missing something but I've set AVX to 3, disabled Asus EMC, set the XMP, LLC on 6, Long and Short power duration on max, CPU core/cache at max, CPU cache ratio set at 42. And after that just played around the core voltage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
