Hey everyone, I'm building a Ryzen PC in an Inwin 301c case, which naturally has me worried about airflow.

The case supports:

  • Rear: 1x 120mm fan
  • Front: 1x 240mm radiator
  • Bottom: 2x 120mm fans

My plan is to pray that there will be enough clearance to mount 2x 120mm radiators (AIO) sideways in the front, one for the GPU (RX470) and one for the CPU (Ryzen 5 1600x). From what I've read the front is supposed to be used as an exhaust, so I'll use a push config, allowing me to use Corsair ll120's.

Judging by one of the case manufacturer's pictures, which has sleeved cables between the fans and the glass, there is some room. If you own a 301 or 301c let me know if fitting a AIO cooler's radiator sideways in it is even plausible!

Pretending that all works out, the bottom would be the intake, using 2x 120mm fans. Then a single 120mm on the rear as exhaust.

Is there any foreseeable complications with this idea? I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to cooling, even more so when it comes to AIO liquid cooling and liquid cooling.

The goal here isn't for insane overclocking, just a generally quieter, cooler machine. Needless to say I cannot wait to upgrade to PWM fans!

Thanks for any help or advice you can give!

sorry if this belongs in air cooling lol
