So now I am going to out in front of you two gaming and 3D rendering systems.

System 1

-i7-8700K

-Noctua NH-D15S

-ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero WiFi AC/ ASRock Z370 Taichi (you choose)

-G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB (2×8GB) 3000MHz CL15 dual channel

-Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB

-RAID 10 of 4×Seagate Barracuda 1 TB

-MSI GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X Trio

-Phanteks Enthoo Pro M SE

-3×Phanteks Halos Lux 140mm RGB frames

-Corsair ML140 PWM fans

-2×Phanteks PH-HDDKT-02 HDD brackets

-Phanteks PH-LEDKT RGB strips

-2×Black Net Jacket Sleeved 12-inch Molex 4-pin to 3×4-pin PWM fan splitter Hub adapter cable w/RPM feedback

-Acer Predator Z35P

System 2

-i7-8700K

-ASUS ROG Strix Z370-E Gaming

-G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB (2×8GB) 3000MHz CL14 dual channel

-Samsung 850 Pro 256 GB

-Seagate Barracuda 2 TB

-MSI GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk EK X

-Thermaltake Core P5 TG edition

-4×Phanteks Halos Lux 120mm RGB frames

-EK-Vardar EVO 120ER Black (2200rpm)

-EK-CoolStream XE 480 (Quad)

-EK-XTOP Revo D5 PWM - (incl. sleeved pump)

-EK-RES X3 250 RGB

-EK-FB ASUS Z270E Strix RGB Monoblock (Nickel)

-EK-DuraClear 9,5/12,7mm 3M RETAIL

-EK-CryoFuel Blood Red Concentrate 100 mL

-EK-ATX Bridging Plug (24 pin)

-EK-Cable Splitter 4-Fan PWM Extended

-EK-ACF Fitting 10/13mm - Black (4-pack)

-EK-AF Ball Valve (10mm) G1/4 - Nickel

-EK-CSQ Plug G1/4 (for EK-Badge) - Black Nickel

-Filling Bottle (1000mL)

Now my budget was 3,00,000 INR. The former system 2,42,011 INR. Insave quiet some money. For the latter system, my bill amounts to 2,60,587 INR. More free money in my budget will allow me to be more flexible in choosing good quality peripherals and an open headphone with an AMP+DAC. The latter system will allow only closed backs with mid-range peripherals.

Which one should I get? System 1 or System 2?

Go with system 1 unless you plan to overclock the *bleep* out of your machine.  My preference on the motherboard since they give you the option is the Taichi motherboard.  Good VRMs, high user ratings.  The ASUS board is good too...I just like the Taichi.

Yes, i do plan to overclock my system to its limits. And i don't really find the money left by System 2 any less. I can get a good pair of closed backs now, and later on upgrade to open backs with an AMP+DAC. As for the motherboard on the air-cooled system, the ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero is also top of the line, and i get better RGB. well since you say the Taichi is still better at air cooled VRMs, i think that is a more viable option.

Well... You have an NVIDIA gpu so it would do nothing... Any way to ask for a normal and or gsync one?

I'm sorry, the air cooled one had a G-SYNC one while the liquid cooled one had a FreeSync one (useless).

I see you guys thinking someone else is building this for me or a custom builder is behind the scenes. Actually, it's me whose doing all this shit.

You can put in custom parts and pricing from your merchants. If you click the permalink, you will see incompatibility notes. One of which is the lack of cpu cooling. The tool also estimates maximum power consumption based on manufacturers' specs.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

There is no problem with compatibility in these parts. I just wanted to know which of the two systems I should get, depending on cooling power and more headroom in budget for quality peripherals and audio.

Tough to choose between a system with no cpu cooler and one with a custom loop.

The first system had a Noctua NH-D15S.

I don't recall seeing that in the original posting.

Unless there is pressing reason for a custom loop, invest the money in more important things. The NH-D15S will do a very credible job and even allow for a reasonable overclock.

I decided to get a water cooling alternative for better looks and amazing cooling. If you say, I can do System 1 in the TT Core P5 in place of the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M SE. It will be worlds better. I'll get a G-SYNC monitor, better peripherals and amazing audio. But will the NH-D15S suffice for 5.1GHz+ overclocks?

If I go for air cooling in the Core P5, then I will not need any fans for the system. So no direct cooling for the VRM. Bad. Period.

But I am getting a better VRM motherboard tho. Still, help appreciated.

There are a number of reports of i7-8700K over 5GHz on air, typically delided. But one should always take into account the essential randomness of oc potential of any given chip.

I see. I maybe a loser of the silicon lottery. What about an AiO? They'll certainly make more noise tho.

The lottery still applies. But a good aio will offer a bit more headroom. The question you should answer is "which is more important, silence or speed?"

Uh, that's quite a difficult choice. I always wanted a decent compromise between the two, so that means performance (speed) and silence. But, AiO makes an unacceptable level of noise, and if I am using open backs, it will be unacceptable. I might go for a noise isolation case then. But that would mean lesser airflow. Can you help me here?

Fractal Design Define series has a reputation for being quiet. Be Quiet! has some cases that are pretty good.

I seem to love the be quiet dark base 700 (but it's not available) and the pure base 600 (extremely good, but pricey for TG version over here). Fractal Design Define R6 is a solid option but suffers from unavailability in India.
