Need help using snort

i want to read a pcap file and analyse for any threats using snort. I have used this command C:\Snort\bin>snort -r pcapname.pcap and i have been getting this error on every packet that was shown:  WARNING: No preprocessors configured for policy 0.

I haven't found any help that I could understand. im very new to snort and it would be very helpful if u could suggest how to get rid of this error and get proper outputs. Thank u
