Hey guys,

i recently built a new pc and cant get output from my asus gtx 1050ti gpu via hdmi,

i switched the gpu to asus gt 210 via vga(vga only/hdmi and dvi not working as well) and it gave me ouput,

unfortunately my new gpu does not have vga to check it using vga nor i have dvi cable to check that slot.

and i cant install driver if i cant put that gpu in.

my specs:-

ryzen 3 1200

8 gb ddr4 ram

asus prime b350m-k

new:-asus gtx 1050ti phoenix edition gpu (old gt 210)

cx 450 psu

i tried running the cd that came with gtx 1050ti but it installed gt 210 drivers.

.

.

.

Edit: ok i tried the dvi port and found that it does not work either. so basically the output is coming from the vga from my old gpu (gt 210) and no ports on the new gpu works. And yes i tried switching monitor input and i only have one pcie slot.

tried the same thing with other system and the result was the same.

pls help(updated bios to latest version and installed all mobo drivers).

I had to first use vga on my older build to get a display, I then installed windows and driver and it let me use hdmi/dvi/display port after that.

but here for me vga is in the old gpu not the new one.

what drivers are there to get hdmi and dvi running?

i installed windows 10 and all other mobo drivers.Did i leave out anything?

Try plugging both gpus in if you can. [IDK if you sold the other] and booting off the vga one, then simply installing the new gpu driver

i tried that way,the driver for the new one wont install as it require the new gpu to be plugged in. and as i mentioned before i only have 1 pcie slot.

boot into bios with old card and look for a option that forces display onto the PCIE slot.

tried that too. i could not find any option like that. also i guess display would come from pcie itself becoz ryzen does not have integrated gpu.

You need a 7 series to enable on board. You ARE plugging into the video card, not the mobo right? BIOS amight have an option to disable onboard which would prompt PCI-e.
