Fast charging support

Would a cable rated for 5V at 2.4A be able to fast charge my Galaxy S8? My original Samsung Cable stopped working and I was wondering if this one would do.

As far as I know, as long as you use the cable and adapter that was included in the original S8 box, you should be able to get the fastest charging time. Samsung mainly supports its own Adaptive Fast charging, and not much else. So there's no need to get a third party cable/adapter. I highly recommend you only use Samsung cables and adapters, and nothing else.
