I'm sorry but you're going to have to explain EXACTLY what you did to cause this issue, it's impossible to help you based on the info you provided.

 

What folders?

What did you do to them?

What were you trying to achieve?

If you mean libraries, you can just change folder which located to library and then move contents to new folder. Desktop is exception, but you shouldn't store big items or many things on that anyway. Add some other folders to favorites (I literally have folder named Desktop v2).

fresh start, this is confusing

 

delete all the files which you had copied.

make a new folder in D:/ drive, Name it "whatever_you_want" > open it and move it to the side

open C:\users\kolom > select the folders ( document, music, ...) > Ctrl + C

go to  D:/whatever_you_want > Ctrl + V
