No display after upgrading CPU?

Hi. My motherboard is a Gigabyte 990xa updated tot F13 Bios. I was previously using a phenom X6 1055T and ordered a FX-8320. My bios is up to date and the 8320 is compatible with my MB but when i swapped CPU's i get no display. I tried a different video card, a different monitor, checked all connections, cleared cmos but still nothing.

I put my old CPU back in and my PC works fine. Does this mean i got a DOA CPU?

The FX series don't have an iGPU. So you will have to use a GPU to get a display.

Lol.....

Before i swapped CPU's the first time i clicked "Load optimized defaults" to reset my overclock before swapping. Just now i put my 1055T back in and clicked "Load fail-safe settings" and put my 8320 back in and now it works. Hurray!

Thankfully you had another CPU to throw in there to change the settings, otherwise you might be SOL! :)
