looking at corsairs psu and im not sure which one right i like the rm 750 cos of the price and cable inputs but then the 'rm, ax and all those letters at the beginning it puzzles me... overall i really like corsair just from the quality of they makes but if there possible that another brand does the same exactly as corsair then post the link:')

I would go for the RM series if that's in your price range.  Premium components, and the cables are gorgeous.

 

AX series is the cream of the crop.  Not super necessary unless you care about Corsair Link.

 

CX and GS are the lower end PSUs, and TX and HX have been pretty much outclassed by RM, though if you can get a good deal on those they're great as well.

AXi is a digital power supply with Corsair Link. The regular AX is not a digital PSU and doesn't offer Corsair Link.

 

The AX is a better build, better performing unit than the RM series. Even if you don't know much about it, you can automatically assume this based on the longer warranty and the temperature is it rated to handle.

 

What you should get would depend on your budget, the system that it will be powering, and the place that you are able to buy from (post links to it if possible).
