Wireless Headset for Gaming?

Noyu

I'm ALMOST done with my cable-cutting. My next purchases will be a G603 mouse.

After that, and probably my las cable-cutting purchase, would be a wireless headset.

I currently have a HyperX Cloud II and I can say I'm pretty satisfied with sound quality, comfort, and overall build of the product.

Unfortunately, I still have to cut cables so I'll be selling it and I'll be buying a new headset.

So far my options (and my personal comments) are:

  • Logitech G933 - ugly af. this is only an option as I've heard good things about it's sound and mic quality. will probably get this automatically if Logitech can confirm that it can connect to the G603's wireless receiver.
  • Steelseries Arctis 3 Bluetooth - not available in my country atm. also my keyboard (ANNE Pro) runs on Bluetooth so these will probably get some interference when used together.
  • Steelseries Arctis 7 - probably my best choice at the moment. I've heard mixed reviews about comfort and mic quality.

I mostly just use my headset for in-game sounds and voice chat and porn. Music, movies, maybe, but I' prefer to use my 2.0 my speakers instead of my headset for that.

I personally think 7.1 is a bust so it's not an added factor for me.

Do you have any more suggestions I should look into?

I would take a look at either the Logitech G533, SteelSeries Siberia 800Corsair VOID Pro, or just go with Steelseries Arctic 7. It's pretty hard for me to recommend wireless headphones after being spoiled by my Bose SoundLink II's sound quality. You just can't get great quality sound from wireless right now, especially when bundled with a mic.

Logitech G533 - looks so much better than the G933. thank for this!. sadly not available in my country YET.

Siberia 800 - 209.99$ NOPE NOPE NOPE hahaha

Corsair VOID Pro - looks funkier than the G533 but might be decent. I'll look into this

Corsair Void should be the best of those.

Also, an audiophile user/person in another forum did a review on those, and found them good (for beeing wireless, for that price etc).

There are far worse choices with worse bang for buck.

So i trust in him, and would recommend the Corsair Void too.

welll that's weird. I've read that the Arctis and the Logitechs should at least sound better than the Corsair Void.

I've also read people calling out Corsair Void Pro's weird shape, being mildly uncomfortable and not giving a correct fit.
