100-$150 speakers.

I want something that has a nice mono-chromatic finish, something that looks pretty simplistic, and has good sound quality. I would prefer a "kit" that came with two speakers as well. I remember viewing some logitech speakers a while back but never pulled the trigger.

these are the ones. What would you guys think of this purchase ? I'm a long time headphone user, and am quite unsure on what I should chose.

What about Micca PB42X? It's a classic speaker box design but has a built-in amp, it looks good to me, sounds pretty good from what I've gathered but don't expect rumbling bass as it has a 4" woofer only.

How would something like that interface with a PC?
And I'm not a big bass person. It seems to me that typically people who are into bass are music fans. It's not that I dislike music, I just don't spend much time listening to it.

Thanks, I'm not a big bass person (or at least I don't think). I don't actually have that much experience with my audio preferences. And if I can extrapolate from previous experiences, it will take me a while to narrow down what type of sounds I prefer, and why.

Look at the back of the speaker with the amp section (only one speaker has the built-in amp, it powers that speaker as well as the other passive speaker), do you see a green 3.5mm minijack input? It's just under the volume knob, connect it to the green audio output on your mobo with just a simple 3.5mm stereo minijack to 3.5mm stereo minijack cable similar to the one below

You can also opt for a stereo minijack to L/R RCA jacks like the one below

The second connector would be for if I wanted to run the cables to a monitor/television?

The red and white RCA ports? Those are inputs, so it's possible to run the audio FROM your TV's audio out to it. As for monitor, I don't see the need as the monitor would be used with your computer, so the audio should be from your mobo instead.
