APPLE OR WINDOWS?

That question has been bugging me off for so long, choosing which is better. For me honestly neither is better than the other as they has their own pros and cons.
I never owned any apple products so i really don't know how it actually works.

So here's the deal.
I'm getting a new iPad pro for christmas and i was wondering if there's anyway to actually combine both apple and windows for my workflow (am a student)

Should i get my new iPad pro?

either Windows or MacOS can be integrated the same with with the ipad using airserver so that shouldn't be the deciding factor. Are you debating on the tablet to get or are you definitely getting the iPad pro and want to know if you should change your computer as well?

I just wonder if purchasing an iPad will help me with my workflow?

That's too vague a question, it depends on what you need it to do. Personally I think the iPad pro is too expensive for what it does and you'd be better off with a windows convertible in most cases. With that said, if you do decide to get the ipad and you'll use it for office work, it will do just fine and it shouldn't be a problem to share files between your machines.

This is not really relevant to the question, but how did you get to the conclusion that neither is better than the other if you don't know how one works? Not saying you're wrong, but it seems to me you didn't really investigate the matter.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Tablets are mostly useless compared to laptops. You can't just install MacOS or Windows on an iPad either, Pro or not. Maybe you could if there's an app for running virtual machines, but that's work and a lot of overhead for little to no gain. Unless you have to be moving about on your feet a lot while you use the device, there isn't much to gain from getting a tablet.

For one you can't install desktop OS to most tablets. Only Windows tablets have kinda desktop-like OS. If you'd get Macbook, you can install Windows on the side with bootcamp. You still need key for Windows. Other way around doesn't work as macOS is locked OS. Apple ToS doesn't allow installing it on any other hardware than theirs.

I doubt an iPad will improve your workflow, my iPad was always a distraction, when I bought a Surface Pro 4 that is improved my workflow.
