It doesn't really matter when it is ddr4.In your situation I would go for trident z mainly because of the rgb.If the rgb is not for you buy corsair vengeance because it is cheaper.

legit might as well go all out in ram if im overpaying any way I think, just looking for opinions really ty.

Just a quicky on this I have this board and as fantastic as it is, RGB and aura sync is kinda dog shit. I've uninstalled mine so now i have the default rainbow effect.

Apart fromt hat being B350 you do have to mess with OCs a little more than you'd expect but in the end the results are worth it. As I now have my "WAMS" at 3200mhz.

Pros: OC skills learned over time

Cons: Dont expect XMP to always work as easy as it should DOCP sometimes needs help
