Would this build possibly work

unless you are changing monitor too there is no need to get anything more than the 1060.

I agree with @Yatys 93. What you have is perfectly fine for the resolution you game in, and even for 1080p/60fps gaming if you upgrade your monitor. You'll only need to upgrade if you want to go for high refresh rate 1080p or better, and the video card will make a larger difference than the cpu.
