Vibration driving me nuts

Hi guys,

 

I built a new water cooled PC with a D5 pump around September. Recently there's this really annoying vibrating sound coming out of the damned thing even though I've changed nothing. If I take one of the sides off it stops. No wires are touching anything. Fan blades are fine and all fans have rubber padding - or whatever it's called. If I force the side panel completely flat against the main part of the case there's zero sound. Sometimes it stops on its own and then starts up again, to top it off the side panel has been collecting some kind of weird white residue  What the fck is going on???

The case is  Noctis ROG btw.

Any ideas?

how is the d5 mounted? and are the speeds for it being controlled or are they static, just wondering if at certain speeds the pump is vibrating the case which is passed on to the side panel?

Open the case and check for loose fixings something has worked loose
