Posted December 17, 2017 All, I play a game called world of warships. After overclocking my monitor to 70hz, and with a 1080ti, I regularly hit 69/70hz on the game with my 2k BenQ monitor. Ok, then comes some major Windows 10 update, that happened just recently (two days ago or so). I then run the game and the frames are down in the 40s and lower. The game is now unplayable for me. No other changes that I can think of. Also note: my start menu went back to the original configuration, with bloatware and all. Any ideas? Posted December 17, 2017 The bigger Windows Updates seems to give many people problems on GPU related activities, at least for nvidia cards. Usually a re-install of the driver fixes it.
