Headphone Help

Ok so I decided to get the audiotechnica mx40. I was going to get a modmic but I decided to spend an extra 10-20 dollars and get a standalone mic. Link 1 or just Link 2   <---Click On those for links

Im wondering if I should get a dac/amp. Im willing to spend 50 dollars for it. Im currently using gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 motherboard sound. It has some amp built in btw(although its probably bad). Anyways, should I get a dac/amp?

Decent dac/amp and $50 shouldnt be on the same line.

The answer is no.

M40x is easy to drive and your Mobo is more than enough for driving the M40x

Just so I know whats the cheapest dac/amp you would recommend.

Dont waste your money.

If u want a Decent dac/amp combo u need to spend at least $100 to get Fulla 2 or Fiio Q1/e10K

Spend your $50 for something else like foods or Better microphone Like modmic 4 or V moda boom pro.

Isn't modmic and vmoda boom pro worse than the blue snowball?

Maybe but its more than enough to use it for games or skype.

But for broadcasting yes u need something like snowball or blue yeti to get decent audio quality.
