No, digital signals aren't prone to varying quality like analogue signals are. Image quality should be exactly the same, provided the outputs, inputs and adaptor all support whatever resolution and frame rate you're using. 

Is there a chance that you can lose quality if you use a hdmi to display cable or adapter ?
