Just saw the video by Linus on the Aorus Gaming Box. I have an ASUS laptop that does not have Thunderbolt 3. The closest I/O that it has to this is mini display port. Link to specs linked below. I'm trying to get some more life out of laptop by enhancing the graphics capabilities. 95% of the time I use my laptop with an external display. Is it possible to adapt mini displayport to Thunderbolt to the Aorus Gaming Box. Would like to verify this first before spending money. I use a 1080p monitor with my laptop and don't have any plans of going to a higher resolution display anytime soon, so even if the mini displayport throttles the connection it wouldn't be the end of the world for me. Has anyone tested this or are there any other options for laptops that don't have Thunderbolt 3?
