Hello! My PSU originally had a 4+4 Pin ATX/EPS ( motherboard connector ) i modified the cable to 4 Pin ATX/EPS cable because my motherboard had 8 pin connector then i found out that the modification was useless and not needed. In theory the cable still has same amperage? Can i use this modified 4 pin connector to a 8 pin motherboard ( i am going to buy an B350M Gaming Pro for my new Ryzen 7 1700 which i will try to OC a bit ) and get same results as if it was a 8 pin cable which it was originally ? My PSU is a nJoy Titan 500, 500W

You CAN run a CPU off just the 4 pin cable, but you will need both 4 pin cables in order to do any kind of overclock.
