Phone Help!

I got a new phone today and it is EX- Demo (display product) and when I got it. I unboxed it and turned on and it was already setup, had a pin and I don't want to do the power button + volume down just incase it asks for google account that previously on device. Please help!

if you cant get into the phone - take it back to the store and tell them to either give you a new phone or get them to do a factory reset

Cant get in someone at store how it is ex demo has put pin on it.

Turn off the phone, wait a few seconds, then hold the power button and volume up button.

Select clear emmc.

It 100% will NOT ask for a google account, and will factory reset the phone. A reseller, if selling a display product is required to do that before the product is sold. If they did not then you bring it back in and have them do it if you don't want to take the 5 seconds to do it yourself.

 

That is the only way for you as an individual to beat the entry pin without going into illegal territory. This whole situation you've outlined is pretty sketchy though, kind of sounds like you're just trying to get into a locked phone and not trying to reset a new phone that you bought.
